WORK

History [cont.]

I've always been heavily inspired by the incredible works of HR Giger, which made a lasting impression on my work. From then on, I tried to develop and expand my own ideas in biomechanical style, this seems to be my lifelong obsession. I prefere to do large scale complex compositions, which follow the body anatomy. This reflects my philosophy behind tattooing. Contrary to current commercial trends and mainstream perception of tattoo as a mere fashion accessory, I regard tattooing as a journey of self discovery and deep transformation, both physically and mentally.

Booking

To book an appointment, you need to drop me an email explaining your general idea, size, placement etc. Also helps if you can come for a consultation in my studio, but if it's not possible, we will book it via email.

I require a deposit of 100 pounds for the booking. The deposit is non refundable and will go towards the last session. No deposit - no booking.

My rate is 100 pounds/hour. Waiting time can be anything from 3 to 6 months, depending on my availability and your flexibility. Once we start the project, I will do one full day session every month, and a full day session means 3 to 5 hours of bloodshed, depending on your tolerance. This way we have a realistic chance of finishing the project in a reasonable time frame.

Design

Most of my work is done freestyle. This means that I will draw the initial design on the skin on the day. During my 17 years of experience, I developed this mode of work, and it seems to be the best way to create designs that flow with the body. This will require a fair bit of mutual trust. Feel free to bring or send all the ideas or visual reference. I am not able to send you any ready designs beforehand.

Tattooing

I will usually do a full day session, and this means up to 5-6 hours max, with enough time reserved for design, coffee breaks and checking your Tinder. I work fairly quick which means I am capable to do a large piece in one session. To give you an idea, it takes 4-6 session for a sleeve. I am not heavy handed and will not push your limits, and usually my customers are perfectly fine without any anesthesia. I advise to allow 4 weeks for healing and regeneration before we do another session. If you have balls of steel, we can do 2 or more consecutive days, or have sessions weekly, but I don't do this often.
